Tour Booking Information
What you need to know before booking...
Please read the below information before booking with Stonehenge Value Tours. If anything is unclear please do not hesitate to contact us, we will be happy to answer any questions you have. Also, if you have not visited the UK before, we have compiled some useful Travel Advice worth knowing to make you trip more enjoyable and stress-free.
IMPORTANT - By booking with Stonehenge Value Tours you agree to the following:
Tour Payment
Upon booking your tour you must pay in full via Credit Card or PayPal or Bank Transfer. Note 5% fee is added for all transactions. You can avoid this fee if you wish to pay us in cash on the day itself in British Pounds Sterling £ only.
Attraction Charges
Your tour charge includes our vehicle hire, driver guide time, fuel, parking, and any congestion charges. Drinks, snacks and lunch and entrance fees to tour attractions is payable locally by the customers direct either online before the tour or on the day itself and is not included in our tour charge.
Guiding Rules
Please note our driver guides are not able to escort you around the attractions. But they will tell you all the history of each site as you drive to it. Then what to see and do when inside and for how long and finally when to meet them once you are done at each site.
Tour Pickup / Return
Although confirmed on your tour itinerary, pickup for the majority of tours from your location will be at 9am. Please ensure you are waiting and ready to depart at the agreed pickup site at the time specified. If you are late this may affect your itinerary and result in a shortened trip. Final drop-off time on a one day tour can vary depending on location but is expected to be around 6pm the same day at your original pick up location unless agreed otherwise with us when you book the tour.
Please note collection from the Central/West London area is included in the tour price, alternatively you may wish to meet us at the Gloucester Road Tube / Underground Station. This is available via the Circle and District Tube Line. Please contact us if you require further assistance here. If you are staying in East or North London this will require extra payment or you may be instructed to meet us at the above stated tube station.
Refreshments/Lunch
Drinks, refreshments or snacks are not provided though you may wish to bring your own for the tour and we can also stop as required for you to purchase anything you need as often as you wish. Lunch is also not included though the driver will allow time for a short break for you to purchase your lunch and consume whilst on the tour in the vehicle. Dinner you arrange yourself once the tour has ended and we have dropped you off. There will be plenty of stops offered in the day for restroom breaks etc.
Additional Driver Time
Should you wish to make use of our driver tour guide and have dinner on the evening of your tour or perhaps visit a London show or visit extra sites during the day our driver services are available for hire at the rate of £65 per hour after 6pm. Please ensure you give our drivers reasonable notice if you wish to do this and arrange directly with the guide to make payment terms apply.
Insurance
Our drivers are fully insured with public liability insurance, for peace of mind during your stay with us. As always when travelling, it is strongly advised to arrange your own personal travel insurance via your chosen insurance company. If you need assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.
